About

Sage Path Press makes the guides we wished existed when we needed them.

The most cited piece of wellness writing on most topics is, somehow, still a viral carousel posted by someone with no training and no sources. We make the alternative.

Every guide we publish is an editorial PDF — designed, cited, and stress-tested against the cohort the field usually fails. We are slow on purpose. We are small on purpose. We answer our own email.

  • Cited or it didn't happen

Every factual claim earns a numbered reference to a peer-reviewed paper, primary clinical source, or named expert document. We list our sources at the back of every guide. If we can't cite it, we don't say it.

  • Designed to be used

Decision trees. Wallet cards. 28-day trackers. Every appendix is sized to print, fold, and live in a kitchen drawer or a gym bag. The guide is the artifact, not the marketing for some other artifact.

  • The edge case is the point

Conventional advice is built for a median nervous system, joint, schedule, life. We write for everyone the median misses — breath-sensitive, hypermobile, postpartum, desk-bound, anxious. Every protocol ships with the variant for you.

How a guide gets made

We pick a topic where the existing content is either thin, wrong, or dangerous. We assign a researcher, a writer, and a domain editor — usually a clinician or a credentialed practitioner in the field. Every chapter is reviewed twice: once for cadence and voice, once for clinical safety. Diagrams are hand-drawn, not stock. Citations are spot-checked at the URL. Disclaimers are written for the worst case, not the average.

It takes about four to six weeks per guide. We will never publish faster.

Who's behind this

Sage Path Press is a small independent press. We are not a wellness brand, not an app, not a venture-backed content engine. We don't take advertising. We don't run affiliate programs. The only thing that pays the bills is whether you find the guide worth the price.

If you have a topic you wish we would cover — or a clinical correction on something we've published — write to us at hello@sagepathpress.com.
